Playboy Sparks Outrage for Sexual Denigration of Conservative Women

Playboy magazine has removed an article from its website by freelancer Guy Cimbalo entitled "So Right It's Wrong" that glorified and joked about "hate" intercourse against ten conservative female politicians, spokespersons, or pundits. The list includes degrading misogynistic and/or ethnic insults against each of these public figures: Cong. Michelle Bachmann, Michelle Malkin, Amanda Carpenter, Laura Ingraham, Pamela Gellar, Megyn Kelly, Mary Katherine Ham, Dana Perino, Peggy Noonan and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.  While much of the language is unsuitable for this article, here is an edited portion from the introduction:
Obama promised us the dream of post-partisanship-a cuckoo land where party affiliation and factional animosity were forgotten. Turn on cable news or open any newspaper, however, and you'll quickly discover that the dream has yet to materialize. But there is a way to reach across the aisle without letting principles fall by the wayside. We speak, naturally, of the hate [f***].We may despise everything these women represent, but goddamit they're hot. Let the healing begin." Another section: "This highly f******** Filipina is a massively popular blogger who is known to dress up like a cheerleader....worse than f****** Eva Braun"
Center Director Brian Levin's statement: "Hate speech is hate speech irrespective of which end of the political spectrum that it comes from. While constitutionally protected, bigotry, misogyny and an apparent glorification of rape, is among the most vile, disgusting and violent sort of ignorance the internet has to offer. The fact that my viewpoints have previously been criticized by some of these women does nothing whatsoever to diminish the anger and disdain I have for those who would author such violent misogynistic trash and for those who would publish it. Disagreement with someone's viewpoint, and I certainly do with some of the individuals listed, does not confer a license to spread hate without condemnation. Mr. Cimbalo, I'm sure your mother is quite proud of you."
